Simple Nutrition Tips: Part 1

💥 Nutrition Pro Tip💥One of the tasks of being a personal trainer is to help people navigate nutrition. Whether they are a working mom, athlete, coach, grandma, CEO, or someone that stops in to grab some pre made meals here in Eagan, it doesn’t matter. Everyone needs food and there is a lot of white noise out when it comes to nutrition.

Protein+vegetables.  An all time common denominator for effective nutrition. Protein being essential for the regeneration of organs and tissues as well as repairing muscles that just got shredded from that workout. If you sacrifice protein, your body won’t waste resources on maintaining or gaining muscle. Hint:(it doesn’t really care about your muscles in comparison to your liver, skin, etc.) 🥬🥒🍠🌶🥕🥦🍅Vegetables. Another vital component to any nutrition program whether it’s a person doing a cleanse, Olympic level athlete, or someone just trying to get in shape. They provide an abundant level of phytonutrients, anti-oxidants, fiber, and other compounds that improve cell function and can even help to prevent cancer. They absolutely should be a part of anyone’s balanced diet, no matter what their goal is. Mix and match as many combos as you can to maintain adherence. The repetitive days of chicken breast and broccoli will get old fast. đź’Ą5 delicious combosđź’Ą. âś…Salmon and asparagus. âś…Grilled Steak and peppers, onions, mushrooms. âś…Pork tenderloin and root vegetables w/Brussel sprouts. âś…Grilled Chicken w/a salad + green beans, asparagus, avocado, etc. âś…Grilled Tilapia and a salad with roasted sweet potatoes. #grillseason #protein #vegetables #nutrition
