The Dreaded Sled

THE DREADED SLED. One of my personal favorites, and easily one of the most beneficial and functional tools in the gym. The carryover to athletic+real life performance is extremely high. It challenges everything from the entire cardiovascular system, the shoulders, core, glutes, quads, calves, even ankle and foot stability. One foot in front of the other. Simple, yet brutal. Bang for your buck, this movement will yield much more benefit than the time spent running or perfecting obscure movements in the gym that have less carryover into sport or real life. Significantly less wear and tear/risk of injury as well. What a gem. Load it up and you can add stressors like moving laterally or pulling backwards to challenge the body with different variations in force production.
